CENTURIES AGO, BEHIND THE QUIET WALLS OF A VENETIAN NUNNERY, A UNIQUE TRADITION WAS BORN.

INSPIRED BY AN 18TH-CENTURY FAMILY RECIPE, OUR DRINKING CHOCOLATES CAPTURE THE SPIRIT OF VENICE’S GOLDEN AGE, WHEN THE FLOATING CITY WAS ALIVE WITH THE EXOTIC AROMAS OF THE SPICE TRADE.

THE ORIGINS

Originally sold by the cloistered nuns of Santa maria dei Miracoli (Venice, Italy), this drink was allowed for consumption by the Church during Lent - apparently, drinking chocolate isn’t the same as eating it!
